Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking aTravel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment runs 15 weeks, starting 10/05/2026, at 36 hours per week with 12-hour days. Travel benefits and comprehensive credentialing support are provided.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) with 18 months of L&D acute care experience.

Qualifications

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Labor and Delivery Nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
Educate and support mothers and families after giving birth.
