Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 17-week travel assignment in Peru, IL. The role involves obstetric patient care, fetal monitoring, postpartum support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include 1 year of L&D experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP certification. Preferred certifications include AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
Current RN license per state requirements.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing protocols.
Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations.
Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
Document patient care and interventions in the medical record.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
