Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in San Leandro, CA. Start Date: 11/03/2026. Schedule: 36 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts. Travel employment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include monitoring laboring patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with obstetric teams to ensure high-quality care through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Labor and Delivery RN.
• Active RN license in CA or applicable state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification preferred for neonatal resuscitation readiness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with obstetric procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient safety.
• Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Provide postpartum education and newborn care guidance.
