Qualifications

One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Active RN license valid under state regulations.
Current BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

Provide obstetric patient care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
Monitor fetal status and administer medications per obstetric nursing protocols.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and staff.
Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
Document care accurately in medical records.
