Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Start date 09/14/2026. Weekly pay range $2,699–$2,863 with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

You will provide direct care from labor through postpartum, monitor fetal status and administer meds, collaborating with the care team. Certifications include BLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring; EPIC experience preferred. E‑Verify participation may be required.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license and current BLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring; ACLS and STABLE preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for women from labor through postpartum and care for newborns up to 28 days old; support breastfeeding and infant follow‑up as appropriate
• Monitor maternal status and fetal well‑being, perform fetal monitoring, and respond to changes in labor as part of the care team
• Administer medications and analgesia per orders; assist with obstetric emergencies and newborn stabilization when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, neonatology, and other disciplines; supervise and coordinate care across teams
• Document care and records in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and maintain accurate, timely charting
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards; participate in on‑call coverage and code events as required
