Job Summary

Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse, RN, Labor & Delivery
Location: Silvis, Illinois – Genesis Medical Center
Contract: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, immediate start

Responsibilities

• Provide Registered Nursing care in Labor and Delivery units.
• Float throughout the hospital and/or to multiple hospital locations or regions as needed.
• Assess patient condition, identify outcomes, develop and implement plans, and evaluate results.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and license, maintaining professional practice standards.
• Delegate tasks, make decisions, and retain accountability for outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Adapt to cultural differences and manage competing priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid RN licensure in the state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience in Med‑Surg, Telemetry, or PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in critical care, surgical services, maternal services, emergency department, or behavioral health.
• Required credentials (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, BLS, PALS) maintained per specialty area and obtained through the American Heart Association.
• Registered nurse with a license in the state(s) where the assignment will be performed.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
