Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Frankfort, Kentucky. The role involves providing expert care during labor, delivery and postpartum in a Level 2 NICU and nursery setting.

The ideal candidate has ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications, a Kentucky or Compact license, and at least 2 years of hospital L&D experience, with 3+ preferred. Night shifts are 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN required.
• Education: Must have Kentucky license or Compact license at submission.
• Experience: 2 years of hospital setting experience, with preference for 3+ years of L&D.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, induction of labor, IUFD, IV insertions, lab draws, sterile vaginal exams, epidural assistance, and Foley catheter placement.
• The candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
• Additional details: Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections.
