Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. Start ASAP for 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Active AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience are required. Travel nurses must live more than 50 miles from the facility and will receive per diem, licensure and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active AL license or compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• No certifications expiring within 30 days of start date.
• Must provide credentials and government-issued ID upon acceptance.

• Day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00


• Direct patient care for laboring mothers and newborns


• Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility


• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than 1 week


• Past permanent staff of CHS facilities not eligible unless separated for at least 2 years


• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted


• Must provide copies of credentials and government-issued ID upon acceptance
