Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Maryville, Tennessee. The role requires TN or compact license, at least two years of L&D experience, and night shifts.

You will work three 12-hour night shifts, with weekend coverage, and you may float to other units within your competency. The package includes tax-free stipends, per diem options, and comprehensive benefits on day one.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required.
• At least two years of L&D experience required; will consider at least one year of recent experience in the unit.
• At least one year of Epic EMR experience required.
• Two professional references required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting.
• Triage assessments, inductions, cesareans, external versions, NSTs, circumcisions, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, and magnesium sulfate administration performed.
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:45-07:15).
• Weekend coverage and call required.
• Floating to other units within skill set is required.
• Uses Epic EMR, with 1 year of experience required.
• Not open to first-time travelers.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates located 50-99.9 miles away are considered with adjusted compensation.
• Provide labor and delivery care, participate in special procedures, and support newborn stabilization.
• Team members float only within demonstrated competencies.
