Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 26-week contract runs 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and floating as needed.

Candidates should have 2+ years of L&D experience, be eligible for NC or Compact licensure, and hold BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced, NRP, with C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN. Epic/SBAR experience a plus.

• Skills: Circulate, Sterile vaginal exam, competent in immediate newborn care.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience

• - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years, preferably 3 years.
• - Must have experience with >300 births per month.
• - Skills: Circulate, Sterile vaginal exam, competent in immediate newborn care.
• - Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP. Will accept C-EFM in lieu of AWHONN.

Preferred Experience

• - Prefers RN with circulate to OR experience.
• - Experience in high volume, fast-paced similar settings.

Travel and Local Acceptance

• - Unit will accept 1st time travelers with relevant experience.
• - Locals accepted with a rate difference.

Licensure

• - NC or Compact license, pending is acceptable for submittal.

Scheduling and Work Requirements

• - 12 Hour Nights; 18:45 - 07:15
• - Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend, a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• - No call requirements; must be open to floating within/near facility as needed.

Additional Information

• - Orientation: 24 Hours.
• - RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved, must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during the first week.
• - Scrubs: Provided (blue).
• - Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required.

Submission Details

• - Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying.
• - Local candidates (within 50 miles) will receive a lower rate.
• - Travel pairs allowed (must be on different units).
• - Pre-start modules must be completed online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Estimated Weekly Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and may be subject to change during an assignment.
