Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to join a travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. You will assist physicians and Cath lab staff in diagnostic tests and procedures and operate specialized imaging equipment to capture crucial heart and vessel data.

Requirements include ARRT certification, RCIS preferred, and 2 years of Cath Lab experience with sterile technique. On-site benefits and travel reimbursements are included for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiologic Technologist with RCIS preferred.
• Requires 2 years' Cath Lab hospital experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications preferred.
• State licensing when required.
• Must have cath lab experience and be ARRT qualified.
• Experience with scrubbing and monitoring cath lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced Cath lab equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vessels.
• Maintain sterile technique and restock rooms as needed.

ARRT certified RT

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Must have cath lab experience
• ARRT required
• Experience scrubbing and monitoring required
• Sterile technique required
• Experience scrubbing cath lab procedures including angiogram, PCI, complex cases such as CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, and peripheral procedures required
• STEMI coverage required
• Experience with Impella and IABP required
• Knowledge of products and ability to restock rooms required

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• On-call: 9-10 shifts per month and 1 weekend
