Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in West Hollywood, CA. You will provide obstetric nursing care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a daily basis.

Start date is 10/26/2026 with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour day shifts. The role offers travel benefits and comprehensive support from our clinical team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certified.
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist during labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum care and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia teams to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
