Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Middleburg, Florida. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Required qualifications include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS and AWHONN certifications, plus at least 18 months of recent L&D acute care experience. Additional client-specific requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high-risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
