MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, meets certification requirements (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) and has 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
