Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee. The Registered Nurse will provide expert care in the Labor and Delivery unit, attending to active labors, inductions, and C-sections while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and newborn.

The assignment offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, and a travel contract with an 8-week duration and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, including assessment and transition of newborns.
• Fetal monitoring training and relevant skills in handling labor emergencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
• Perform fetal monitoring and manage inductions.
• Handle OB emergencies, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Assist with procedures such as C-sections and circumcisions.
• Provide couplet care for newborns and support stable NICU patients.
