Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment in Oregon, requiring at least 2 years of recent L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care in a high-volume facility, performing sterile exams, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting neonatal care. Night shift, 3x12s, with on-call and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at submission.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; AWHONN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist high-risk deliveries.
• Manage pain relief such as epidural and nitrous oxide.
• Support patients with preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, or pregnancy-induced hypertension.
• Assist with neonatal care including APGAR and resuscitation.
