Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Everett, WA. You will work a 3x12 night schedule (19:00–7:30) within a Level III high-risk perinatal unit, providing care across labor, antepartum, and postpartum services. WA or compact RN licensure is required, with 2+ years of L&D experience and hard skills in SVE, EFM, and neonatal care.

EPIC EMR experience is necessary. Position features 36 hrs/week, 13-week assignment, and no-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred; 100-200 deliveries considered.
• SVE (sterile vaginal exam) skill is a hardstop requirement.
• IV therapy/phlebotomy and blood product administration.
• Neonatal care: APGAR, resuscitation, newborn assessment.
• EFM experience and recognizing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Two supervisory references (1 year in last 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care across labor, antepartum, and postpartum units.
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed.
• Support Level II NICU and high-risk perinatal care.
• Adhere to licensure, safety, and protocol requirements.
