Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery registered nurse for a 13-week assignment in Ada, Oklahoma. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

You will support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care, while collaborating with physicians and the care team. Expect 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel assignment in Ada, OK.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix to monitor progression and dilation.
• Assist physicians with delivery procedures and meds as needed.
• Provide immediate care of the newborn after birth.
• Move and lift patients as required by the assignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe bedside environment and assist with supplies.
