MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and appropriate certifications, with about eighteen months of recent L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS; AWHONN Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
