Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Crosby, MN for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule, with travel requirements and immediate start availability.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications and 3 years of recent acute care experience. This role involves direct patient care before, during, and after delivery and collaboration with physicians throughout the birthing process.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• Travel nursing assignment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient during labor.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, pain management, and cesarean preparation as needed.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques, support patient and family.
• Provide immediate newborn care and ongoing post-delivery support.
