Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for an assignment in Alpine, TX. The role requires an RN with 3 years of recent acute care experience and multiple certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM.

As an L&D travel nurse you’ll assist with deliveries, epidurals, and pain management, while providing patient support before, during, and after birth. Weekend and night shifts are common in travel assignments.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor progress and monitor contractions.
• Assist physicians with delivery procedures and pain management.
• Provide immediate newborn care after delivery.
• Support patient education and emotional needs during labor.
