Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Soldotna, Alaska. Start date 10/12/2026 for 26 weeks, 36 hours/week, 12-hour night shifts. Travel RN status with competitive compensation and licensure support.

Strong obstetric skills and teamwork are essential. The role requires an RN license, BLS, NRP, and one year of L&D experience, with possible preference for AWHONN fetal monitoring and ACLS/STABLE certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification and NRP certification.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, ACLS/STABLE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and administer treatments.
• Assist during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
