Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, AK. Start 09/29/2026 with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights.

You’ll provide obstetric care, monitor fetal status, administer meds, and collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure safe, high-quality birth outcomes. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery RN experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certification; preferred AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and

Qualifications

• One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP Certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Preferred: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Monitor fetal status and perform fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications per obstetric nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members.
• Document care accurately in medical records.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols.
