Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 26-week assignment in Ketchikan, AK. This role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and an active RN license with BLS and NRP certifications.

You will provide obstetric care, monitor mother and baby, assist with cesarean sections, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care in labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health and interpret fetal monitoring results.
• Administer medications and assist with obstetric procedures including cesarean sections.
