Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Topeka, Kansas, a high-risk unit requiring KS or compact RN license and 2 years of experience. You will care for laboring patients, support C-sections and obstetric procedures, and rotate through shifts on a 4x12 schedule with day shifts.

Travelers must meet license and certification requirements (BLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN as specified) and be prepared for floating to similar units.

Qualifications

• Active KS or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate required, Advanced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for laboring patients, including high-risk and vaginal deliveries.
• Assist with C-sections, external cephalic versions, and circulating tasks.
• Monitor fetal status with external and internal monitoring and IUPC placement.
