Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a Topeka, Kansas assignment. The role focuses on caring for obstetrical patients, including high-risk cases, and supporting deliveries and postpartum care during a 12-week travel assignment.

Candidates must hold a KS or Compact RN license, with BLS/NRP and AWHONN credentials, and at least two years of L&D experience. Epic charting proficiency and prior travel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid KS or Compact RN license required at submission.
• Certification in AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery or related obstetrics setting.

Responsibilities

• Care for obstetrical patients including high-risk pregnancies.
• Facilitate deliveries and support postpartum care.
• Manage neonatal needs and perform sterile procedures.
• Float to similar units as needed with on-site orientation.
