• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care.

• Monitor patients during labor and serve as primary point of contact for family members.
• Monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn.
• Perform phlebotomy, basic IV, and central lines.
• Assess maternal vital signs throughout labor and postpartum stages.
• Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered.
• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care.
