Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking Labor and Delivery RN professionals for travel assignments across the United States. This role involves monitoring labor, tracking fetal heart rate, and providing care to newborns, with you as the primary contact for families.

The position emphasizes hands-on maternal care, pain management administration, post-partum vitals, and patient education for new mothers and families. Travel contracts include ongoing support from Gifted Healthcare and access to day-one

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal well-being and maternal vitals throughout labor and postpartum stages
• Serve as the main contact for family members during labor and delivery
• Administer pain medications and other ordered medicines
• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care
• Perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV, and central lines
