Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Niles, MI. The role requires a current RN license in the state of practice, L&D experience preferred, and may require RNC-OB, CPR, and health certification.

The nurse will deliver patient care, monitor mothers and newborns, educate patients, and work within a team to ensure safety and quality. Compensation includes competitive weekly pay with benefits; travel-friendly role with a strong focus on obstetric

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
RNC-OB preferred.
Current CPR if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the nursing process and delivery of patient care in the L&D setting.
Works with mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitoring vitals and recognizing potential complications.
Provides patient education and addresses psychosocial needs after delivery.
Maintains nursing standards and coordinates patient care with the healthcare team.
