Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. The role is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights, with 12-hour shifts and no required call.

The team includes 2 RNs + 1 OB Surgical Tech on the 7-bed LDRP unit and uses Epic and GE/Centricity Perinatal systems, with Level II NICU support and AWHONN fetal monitoring requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year L&D experience and labor triage capability.
• OR circulating experience required for obstetric procedures.
• Newborn resuscitation skills and attending low-risk deliveries.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required.

Responsibilities

• Support labor and delivery, vaginal births and C-sections.
• Manage labor triage and antepartum care per unit needs.
• Assist with tubal ligations, D&C and vaginal repairs.
• Document NSTs, IUFDs, and administer perinatal care.
• Support JADA, Cook and Bakri placement as needed.

Contract / Schedule

• Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts
• Weekends scheduled based on unit needs

• 3rd Floor, Main Building
• Staffing: 2 RNs + 1 OB Surgical Tech
• Ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing guidelines
• Epic
• GE / Centricity Perinatal
• Level II NICU – 32+ weeks / 1,500g+
• Royal blue scrubs provided

Requirements

• 1+ year L&D experience
• Labor triage experience
• OR circulating experience required – C-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, vaginal repairs, etc.
