Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, on 12-hour night shifts in a Level II NICU-capable LDRP unit.

Requirements include 1+ year L&D experience, labor triage, OR circulating competency, newborn resuscitation and BLS/ACLS/NRP plus AWHONN fetal monitoring. Benefits and travel support offered by Prime Time Healthcare Nursing.

Qualifications

• 1+ year L&D experience.
• Labor triage experience.
• OR circulating experience required – C-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, vaginal repairs.
• Newborn resuscitation / attending low-risk deliveries.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required.

Responsibilities

• Labor triage & antepartum care.
• Tubal ligations.
• D&C and vaginal repairs.
• NST.
• IUFD.
• Betamethasone/steroid injections.
• External cephalic version.

Contract / Schedule

• Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts
• Weekends scheduled based on unit needs
• Call not required , but available

• 7-bed LDRP
• 3rd Floor, Main Building
• Staffing: 2 RNs + 1 OB Surgical Tech
• Ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing guidelines
• Epic
• GE / Centricity Perinatal
• Level II NICU – 32+ weeks / 1,500g+
• Royal blue scrubs provided
