Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery in Dickson, Tennessee for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. Day shifts, 12 hours each, and travel status provide a dynamic opportunity in a full-service obstetric unit.

Must have charge experience and obstetric expertise, including labor/ delivery and newborn transition. Certifications in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring are required for patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have labor and delivery experience including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
• Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil)
• Procedures performed on unit: C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries
• Certifications Required: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training

Responsibilities

• Labor and delivery care with the mother and newborn; monitor and respond to OB emergencies.
• Handle C-sections and assisted deliveries, ensure newborn transitions.
• Collaborate with NICU and surgical teams to support patient care.
