TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Glendale, Arizona. This position requires ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications and 3 years of acute care experience. The role involves assisting physicians during deliveries and caring for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient through labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and dilation.
• Keep beds clean and dry and manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physicians with delivery instruments as needed.
• Provide immediate care to the newborn.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
