Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Conway, SC. You will provide comprehensive obstetric care, perform fetal monitoring, and collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure safe labor and delivery.

The role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient safety. This travel position includes night shifts, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate obstetric procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilize mother and newborn as needed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
