Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Goldsboro, NC. This position offers 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, and travel benefits with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
The RN will monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, assist in cesarean sections, and collaborate with obstetric teams. Eligible candidates include active RN license, BLS, NRP, and at least one year of L&D experience.
Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in obstetric nursing.
- Aid physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
- Provide postpartum care and newborn assessment.
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and others to deliver cohesive care.
