Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Henderson, NC. You’ll deliver comprehensive obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal health, and collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience, active RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications. Travel-friendly benefits and a supportive clinical team are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in obstetric nursing care.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
