Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Liberal, Kansas. The role involves obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and coordination with the obstetric team to support mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.

The position offers a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts, with competitive pay and benefits. Start date is 10/12/2026, and travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist the physician during labor, delivery and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including maternal and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
