Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and 1-2 years of L&D/postpartum experience.

Shifts are 12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 1:3 patient ratio and optional on-call. Travel rate applies, with start dates around Oct 5, 2026 and a 13-week assignment window.

Qualifications

• Active IA or Compact RN license required.
• 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery/postpartum nursing experience required.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications required.
• Iowa SING background check required with no exceptions.
• Background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches not accepted.
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult).
• 10-panel drug screening required, including opiates.
• Titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for laboring, postpartum, and select post-operative female patients.
• Work closely with a collaborative OB/GYN care team.
• Scrubs provided by facility.
• On-call is voluntary, not required.
