Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse RN for a Seattle assignment. The position runs 26 weeks with 36 hours per week, on 12-hour day shifts, and is designed for experienced L&D RNs.

The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, BLS and NRP certifications, and travel readiness. Benefits, weekly pay, and guaranteed hours are included per the TotalMed RN program.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/dilation.
• Assist physicians during delivery with epidurals, procedures, and newborn care.
• Provide immediate care to newborn after birth.
