Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Issaquah, Washington. The role requires 3 years of recent acute care experience and involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for 26 weeks.

You will support mothers through labor and delivery, monitor contractions, assist with epidurals and newborn care, and help the team with rapid response tasks. Travel benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS, AWHONN, FHM, NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist patient with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids during/after birth.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, instruments; provide immediate newborn care.
