Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 12-week travel assignment in San Leandro, California. The role focuses on obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and emergency readiness, with day shifts and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in obstetric nursing care.
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
- Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
