Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Anniston, Alabama. This travel role consists of 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with benefits and housing support available.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience in acute care settings. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and baby vital signs during birth.
• Observe for potential high-risk problems and respond accordingly.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
