TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Andalusia, Alabama. The role requires 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and night shifts to support L&D patient care.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of recent acute care experience and relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN). This travel position offers benefits and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Monitor cervix progression and dilation.
• Maintain clean and safe beds; manage fluids and delivery surroundings.
• Assist physician with delivery tools and immediate newborn care.
