Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 10-week assignment in Ukiah, CA. The role requires obstetric/L&D experience and active California RN license. Night shifts, 3x12, 36 hours weekly, travel assignment with support.

Responsibilities include monitoring maternal/fetal status, administering meds, and coordinating care with physicians and staff. BLS/NRP/ACLS certifications are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum 2 years obstetric/L&D nursing experience.
• BLS, NRP and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer meds and document assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, neonatology and staff to develop safe care plans.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate across disciplines.
• Participate in discharge planning and family education.
