Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking a Travel Crew member to support operations in its Northern District Offices. Responsibilities include maintaining and inspecting electric lines and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and possess a valid Texas CDL. Compensation starts at $41.67 per hour, with opportunities for KPI bonuses and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of DOL program requirements for Journeyworker.
• Knowledge of electric power industry construction standards.
• Ability to teach employees safe power restoration.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain overhead and underground electric lines.
• Inspect primary and secondary power lines for issues.
• Lead and monitor job briefings and tailboard meetings.

Skills

Knowledge of business and management principles

Skill in monitoring and managing performance

Ability to communicate effectively

Knowledge of principles of electricity

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
