Job summary

Green Mountain Electric Supply, Inc. is seeking an IT & Facilities specialist who will support electrical, building and technology needs across our Northeast locations. You will manage work orders, install equipment, and collaborate with contractors to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires frequent travel, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication. You will contribute to safety, inventory, and system upgrades while training users in proper hardware/software use.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and proactive in handling tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with staff and contractors.
• Strong troubleshootings skills to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Northeast locations.
• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple work orders.
• Experience with IT and facilities maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical, building and technology support to the company.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional facilities.
• Process and manage work orders; coordinate with contractors.
• Draft preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and peripherals as needed.
• Train users on hardware/software use.
• Refer major issues to vendors for service.
• Assist with deliveries and system modifications as required.
• Contribute to Evaluations of software/hardware and recommend upgrades.
