Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role is 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, with rotating on-call every fourth week.

Responsibilities include managing EPIC case orders, operating the table, performing 3D spins, and post-processing images. The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, a current BLS, and a Virginia license or eligibility, with hybrid collaboration among the surgical and OR teams.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Virginia state license required or eligible with temporary licensure if licensed in another state.
• Strong background in vascular interventional radiology settings.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during interventional procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and utilize fusion technology effectively.
• Engage actively in the procedure, including capturing and post-processing images.
• Document and manage inventory usage during procedures using HI-IQ.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members.
• Assist with simple surgical cases using a C-arm during downtime, including procedures such as Impellas and cystostomies.
