Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac IR role in Charlottesville, VA. ARRT VI and BLS are required, with strong vascular IR experience in a hybrid OR using Siemens equipment.

The position is 40 hours/week, 46-week travel, with 7:30 AM–4:00 PM days and rotating call. Vascular studies experience (angioplasty/EVAR/TEVAR) and Epic HI-IQ documentation are critical.

Qualifications

• ARRT VI and BLS certification required.
• VA state license required if applicable, pending licenses accepted.
• Experience with vascular studies and interventions including angioplasty, EVAR/TEVAR, and thrombectomy/thrombolysis.
• Carotid stenting experience preferred.
• Hybrid OR procedures familiarity and active case participation.
• Proficiency documenting in Epic systems.

Responsibilities

• Imaging support role working vascular IR in the OR.
• Hybrid OR and Interventional Radiology procedures across vascular cases.
• 5x8 hour day shifts (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) with rotating call every 4th week.
• Document in Epic and manage inventory with HI-IQ.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons and OR team.
