Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems related to modalities (RIS, PACS, PCM, Kronos, etc.).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
