Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. You will collaborate with physicians to perform invasive procedures, monitor patients, and maintain sterile technique throughout the peri-procedural process.

The role requires a valid Oregon RN license, BLS/ACLS, and experience in critical care or cath lab settings. Travel assignment includes 40-hour weeks with day shifts and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Oregon with active credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1 year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology.
• Conscious sedation training desirable.
• NIH Stroke certification or RCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures; assist with interventions.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate with the team.
• Recognize and respond to complications (arrhythmias, bleeding, reactions to contrast).
• Collaborate with radiologic technologists and physicians on contrast allergies and sensitivities.
• Monitor and document patient status during moderate sedation and procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and timeouts; manage vascular access as needed.
• Ensure proper device handling, supply management, and room turnover.
